Despite never taking a class in
the art of picture taking...photography has become one of my greatest passions. My parents always told me that I'd need
to marry a millionaire to satisfy my lust for a high maintainance lifestyle--certainly a teacher's wages would never accommodate
my demands. Since buying my first nice camera back in 2001, and taking thousands of dollars worth of pictures however,
I have become more and more hopeful that I will be able to live out my dreams and simultaneously, afford them. To this day,
I still want to be a teacher...but weekends and school vacations will undoubtedly be spent pursuing my photography and continuously
expanding a portfolio that will hopefully reward me someday...
Typically, I enjoy taking people
portraits. I especially like taking photos of the children I am around frequently, because I am often able to catch them in
their natural environment, with genuine smiles or legitimate seriousness. My favorite pictures are the ones that
don't need my descriptions for people to understand them. Though I am generally very critical of my own pictures, I can still
find an appreciation for many of them and love when other people can too. I have created this (not so great--sorry!) website
to share some of my favorite photos, for this reason. It is my hope that those who look, will enoy them too!

the site's blandness and text, or lack thereof. I was not exactly what you'd call a Computer Science Major...hopefully
one day I'll be makin' money enough to pay someone to rebuild this site for me...
